In case you missed it, today we announced history-making news! We launched Creator Television, or Creator TV for short, with our first Free Ad-Supported Streaming Television (FAST) channel – yup, you read that right, we’re LIVE on Plex!

As the Co-Founder & GM of Creator TV, and our network’s FIRST employee, today’s news brings me great pride and joy. It reminds me of the feeling when I first began my career in television, and I had the awesome opportunity to work at my dream job at MTV. This was the network I grew up on, MTV showed me the world, MTV introduced me to other cultures, MTV inspired my interest in social change, MTV played every genre of music I loved, and introduced new genres that opened my ears. I cherish that memory, and today, I bring all that amazing experience to my work here at Creator TV.

My hope is that our viewers will see Creator TV similar to how I saw the network I grew up with, meaning that our programming reflects the diverse world we live in today. Just as I stated in the release earlier, “We are driven by our mission to increase representation in the streaming space by building programming that better reflects today’s world and champions underrepresented voices. As a Filipino American, I understand the importance of amplifying unique stories on the TV screen and how this resonates at deeply personal levels with diverse audiences.”

Yes, this is personal, and I’m beyond proud and thrilled.
