June is Pride Month — a time to celebrate and a time to stand with the LGBTQ+ community. This month, we honor the entertainers who’ve shaped culture through their talent and truth — from Freddie Mercury to RuPaul to Lil Nas X — and uplift the next generation making their mark.
As Co-Founder of Creator Television and a proud ally, I’m committed to creating space for creators from all backgrounds to share their authentic stories with the world. I’m especially excited to welcome one of our newest voices to the Creator TV family — Khadija Mbowe, an artist and content creator who describes themself as “a singer, entertainer, educator, actor, writer, voiceover artist, and all-around creative. (Basically, a multi-hyphenate in training.)” I can’t wait for our viewers to experience Khadija’s talent. They’re breaking the mold — and you’ll have a blast streaming their show.
This month — and all year long — I celebrate Pride and our creators. As GLAAD President & CEO Sarah Kate Ellis put it best:
“Pride has always been powered by storytellers — the creators and truth-tellers who dare to envision a more just world.”
Couldn’t agree more.
Happy Pride, everyone!
